Brief History of Isuthu

Isuthu (Fomerly known as Building Black Men) is a group for males ages ranging from 6 to 18. The group is used as tool to teach the males how to grow up as strong African-American males following Trinity's motto of Unashamedly Black and Unapologetically Christian.
Isuthu started about 1979  as "Building Black Men".  At that time we use the Orital Ritual Rites of Passage Training Manual by Frank T. Fair.  The name of the ministry was changed about 1990 or 1991.  At that time TUCC adopted the Isuthu Program crated by the Fellowship Chappel of Detroit Michigan (Rev. Wendell Anthony).
Former Members Include: Richard Simmons, Deacon Hugh Brandon, William People, Henry Hamilton, Shannon Stewert, Richard Epps, Jerome Baker
